Kleon Open collects information you provide when you use the platform. This includes:

• Account information — email address, display name, handle, and any profile details you choose to add (bio, avatar, website, social link).
• Submitted content — images, titles, artist statements, tool descriptions, and process notes you submit to challenges.
• Judging and vote activity — pairwise comparison selections you make during judging.
• Reports and inquiries — content reports, sponsor inquiry forms, and challenge suggestions you submit.
• Technical information — our hosting, authentication, and storage providers may process standard technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and access timestamps as part of normal service operation.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your submissions in galleries, results, and portfolios
• Run challenges, judging, and ranking
• Moderate content and enforce our rules and content policy
• Respond to reports, inquiries, and suggestions
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, notifications)
• Improve and maintain the platform

We do not sell your personal account information, such as your email address, to third parties.

We use trusted service providers to operate Kleon Open, including services for hosting, authentication, storage, email delivery, and analytics. These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services.

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Zoho — business email and communication

Approved submissions, public profile information, challenge results, honors, and portfolio pages may be publicly displayed and shared as part of Kleon Open.

We may share aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized platform activity data with partners, sponsors, researchers, or creative tool providers. This may include information about challenge participation, judging patterns, voting preferences, submission performance, and other platform trends. We use this information to improve Kleon Open, support sponsored challenges, understand creative preferences, and develop future platform features.

In the future, Kleon Open may offer sponsors, partners, or creative tool providers access to aggregated or de-identified insights from challenges, such as which types of visual concepts users preferred, how submissions performed across judging categories, and broader creative preference trends. These insights will not include your email address or personal account information.

We do not intend to share personal account information, private submissions, or individual voting records tied to your identity with sponsors or other third parties without additional notice or consent.

You can update your profile information at any time. If you would like to delete your account or request a copy of your data, please contact us.

Submissions that have been approved and appear in public galleries or results may remain visible as part of the challenge archive, even after account deletion, as described in the Terms of Use.
