Welcome to Kleon Open. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use Kleon Open.

Kleon Open is a creative competition platform where creators submit original visual work, compete in challenges, and build public portfolios. These terms govern how the platform works, what you can expect, and what we expect from you.

To participate in challenges, submit work, or judge entries, you must create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person.

If we believe an account has been created fraudulently, is being shared, or is being used to manipulate results, we may suspend or remove it.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kleon Open. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Kleon Open only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Kleon Open allows you to submit visual work in response to challenge briefs. Each challenge allows one submission per creator. Submissions are reviewed before appearing publicly in the gallery.

By submitting, you confirm that you have the rights to submit the work and that it does not infringe on the rights of others.

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Kleon Open. Nothing in these terms transfers your intellectual property rights to Kleon Open or any third party.

By submitting content, you grant Kleon Open a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, resize, crop, publish, distribute, and share your submission for the purpose of operating, judging, promoting, archiving, and displaying Kleon Open challenges, galleries, results, honors, creator portfolios, social posts, emails, sponsor-facing recaps, and related platform materials.

This license continues after your submission is made so that Kleon Open can maintain archives, galleries, results pages, and historical records of past challenges.

This license does not give sponsors or third parties the right to use your submission in their own advertising, products, packaging, commercial campaigns, or other commercial materials without a separate agreement.

Each challenge has its own brief, theme, and constraint. Submissions that do not follow the brief or violate the content policy may be rejected or marked ineligible.

Judging is conducted through pairwise comparison by community members. Rankings are calculated from aggregated comparison results. Kleon Open reserves the right to adjust results if manipulation, fraud, or rule violations are detected.

Kleon Open may review, reject, remove, or mark ineligible any submission that violates these terms, the content policy, or the rules of a specific challenge. We may also suspend or remove accounts that repeatedly violate policies.

You must not submit content that:

• Contains explicit sexual content, graphic violence, or gore
• Promotes hate, harassment, or discrimination
• Depicts real people without their consent
• Infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of any person or entity
• Contains misleading or deceptive content
• Is spam, automated, or generated in bulk

You are responsible for making sure your use of any AI tool, stock asset, reference image, likeness, brand, or other material complies with applicable laws and the terms of the tools or materials you used.

Not all challenges include prizes. When a challenge lists a prize, Kleon Open will make reasonable efforts to deliver it as described. Kleon Open does not guarantee that any particular challenge will run, complete, or award prizes. Circumstances may change, and challenges may be modified or cancelled.

Kleon Open is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be available at all times, error-free, or secure.

To the extent permitted by law, Kleon Open’s liability for any claims related to your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to Kleon Open in the twelve months before the claim, if any.
